    • How do I apply to PTV?
      • If you have come across a job that's the perfect fit for you, we would be happy to receive your application via our applicant management system. Beneath every job advert, you will find an "apply here" button, which will take you to the online form. Please note that applications submitted in any other way cannot be considered in our recruitment process. Fill in the form with your personal data and then please upload all of the following documents (this also applies to applications for internships, dissertations, apprenticeships and temporary jobs).

        • Covering letter / motivational letter (why I would like to work at PTV)
        • CV
        • School certificates and employment references
        • Referees (optional)

        Please note: If applying for a permanent position, please be sure to state your desired salary. If you fail to do so, we will have to check with you directly, which may lead to a delay in processing your application.

        Once we have received your application, we will get in touch with you as soon as possible to give you further information about the recruitment process.

        If you can't find any suitable posts advertised at the moment, you have the option of sending an unsolicited application. If your profile seems like a good fit for our company, we will invite you to come and talk to us, even if we haven't advertised an appropriate vacancy.

        It is important that you specify the role that you see yourself in to ensure that the HR department can forward your application to the correct person.

        Applications of this kind can take 4 to 6 weeks to process, since we may forward your documents to several contacts.

        If you would prefer not to send an unsolicited application or if you will only be looking for a new job at some time in the future, you can still subscribe to our Job Alert. Simply type some keywords that apply to you into the search field, for example "software development", "young professional", "Karlsruhe", and you will receive an email notification as soon as a suitable position becomes available.

    • Has PTV received my application?
      • Once you have filled out the online form and uploaded your documents, you will receive an email confirming receipt.

    • How can I edit / add to / delete my application documents?
      • You can use our online system to create a personal account. Your login details will be confirmed via email. You will now be able to add new documents (e.g. bachelor's degree certificates, interim reports, etc.) or update your CV at any time. This enables you to apply for other positions in future without having to reupload all of your documents. If you have found a position at another company, you can withdraw your application to PTV and delete your account.

    • I have a technical question about a position, who can I get in touch with?
      • Before you contact us, please check that the answer to your question isn't already covered by the job advert or our FAQs. We will clarify specific details regarding the position during the individual interview. If you have any urgent queries, please send as an email at jobs(at)ptvgroup.com.

    • I can't upload my documents or submit my application. What should I do?
      • It is possible that you haven't filled in all the mandatory fields in the online form, or that your attachments are too large, or aren't in the correct format.

        The red fields in the application form are mandatory; you must complete them all. The grey fields are optional. We would be pleased if you were to fill them in, but it is not compulsory. The form can still be submitted if they are left blank.

        The rules for attachments are as follows:

        You can upload a complete application or individual documents. The following file formats are possible: Word (doc, docx), PDF, JPG, PNG, GIF. Please do not upload PDFs or Word documents that have a password or write protection and please do not use compressed ZIP files. Each individual document may not exceed the size of 7 MB.

    • I would like to apply for several positions at the same time, is that possible?
      • In principle, you can apply for different positions that are currently advertised. If you have created a personal account, you can log in at any time and choose the position that you are interested in. The HR department will forward your application to the various departments.

        Tip: If you apply in this way, the department heads still like to understand your reasons for applying for a position in their department. It is therefore advisable to adapt and rewrite your covering letter accordingly.

    • I saw a position advertised on an external job site, but I can't see it on the PTV homepage any more, or I am no longer able to access the application form. Is the position still open?
      • If you came across one of our job adverts on an external job site and can't see the position advertised any more on our homepage, this means that the position has already been filled.

        This is because external job sites sometimes need a few days to take the job adverts offline.

        With regard to advertised positions, PTV has no application deadlines. All the positions that you can see on our homepage are up to date and vacant, meaning that you can apply.
