ELMOS - Electromobility as an integral part of urban transport concepts in small and medium-sized towns in the southern eastern seas
The short study on "Electromobility and its beneficial groups", conducted by PTV AG, was a sub-project within the framework of the EU project "ELMOS - Electromobility as an integral part of urban transport concepts in small and medium-sized towns in the southern eastern seas".
The study aimed to elaborate basic information in the area of user groups for electromobility. This information should serve to develop and implement promising demonstration projects and accompanying target group-oriented public relations work in five partner cities of the ELMOS project. The study identified the identification and characterization of specific utility segments of various electric vehicles, as well as their requirements and concerns about the different forms of electromobility. Besides, the study showed a possible communal scope of action to address potential users in a targeted manner. The results were presented at a conference in Sweden and recorded in a report.
User group analysisDevelopment of various requirements and demands for the mobility of the various utility groups of electric vehicles (car owners, fleet operators of passenger cars and commercial vehicles, pedelec owners as well as car- and bikesharing users).
Recommendations for actionWithin the framework of the expert report, recommendations were made on how municipalities can approach potential users in a targeted manner.
