Who should apply?

This license is intended for professors conducting academic research that can potentially contribute to the advancement of PTV Vision.

If you are writing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD thesis, please apply for the PTV Vision Thesis License instead.

About the Research License

All of our products owe their functionality to university research, dating back all the way to the beginning of PTV’s history. We are keen to foster this invaluable relationship into the future, maintaining close and long-term contact with academics who not only use our software in the classroom, but also base cutting-edge research on it.

We welcome research projects that use PTV Vision to advance transportation research and innovation. Learning how researchers use PTV Vision helps us better understand academic requirements and identify opportunities for future product development. Eligible researchers may apply for a Research License to use PTV Vision for non-commercial academic research.
