Webinar: Modelling road transport emissions in PTV Visum, using data from COPERT - in partnership with e:misia

The transport sector is responsible for nearly one-quarter of the EU’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and continues to be a key source of harmful air pollution. As a result, decarbonization and air quality have become top priorities in mobility and infrastructure planning. 

To address these challenges, PTV Group has partnered with e:misia to integrate data from COPERT - the EU’s standard tool for emissions modelling - directly into PTV Visum, our flagship transport planning software. 

With this integration, transport planners can now: 

• Assess GHG emissions and air quality impacts of projects, policies, and fleet changes
• Do so within the same environment they use to model transport scenarios
• Align transport planning more directly with climate protection and public health goals
