More Connected Traffic Impact Workflows

PTV Vistro 2027 helps traffic engineers and development planners coordinate cloud-based projects, apply more precise signal analysis and apply international signal control conventions. New and expanded capabilities improve scenario updates, dashboards export, field-data import, PTV Vissim export and report sharing, supporting connected workflows from planning inputs to simulation-ready outputs.

Coordinate Cloud Models and Scenario Reviews

Coordinate cloud-based projects more clearly. Editing awareness shows who is present, who is working, synchronization activity and new committed revisions. Expanded PTV Hub Dashboard data, clearer intersection data sources and object-based comment titles support review. Multi-Change can activate AM, PM or event signal patterns across selected intersections in one operation.

Improve Precision in Signal Timing Analysis

Improve signal analysis precision with more consistent HCM timing calculations. Lost time is calculated from critical lane groups, while protected-permissive greentime analysis better represents the transition from protected to permissive movement. Minimum and maximum green times can use decimal values, helping users reflect field timing plans and imported Centracs Mobility or UTDF data more accurately.

Apply Stage-Based Signal Control

Use initial stage-based signal control workflows for regions that use Vissig controllers. Users can work with signal groups, stages, interstages, intergreen matrices, sequences and signal programs, exchange controller data with PTV Visum and PTV Vissim, and export signal data to PTV Hub Dashboards. Global detector defaults and cleaner signal group handling support more consistent controller setup and data exchange.

Review Stop-Control Delays Graphically

Review unsignalized intersection operations more clearly. For two-way stop and two-way yield intersections, Rank 1 movements now show delay in the Network Editor instead of a zero-value display. This gives traffic engineers a more meaningful graphical view of priority movement performance when checking intersection results.

Import Field Data More Efficiently

Bring observed traffic data with less manual preparation. Centracs Mobility volumes can be imported directly and filtered by node, signal coordination group, full network, date range and weekdays. The Values import and export workflow also supports right-turn-on-red percentages, helping teams keep input data consistent across scenarios and spreadsheet-based updates.

Export Simulations and Share Reports

Prepare simulation inputs for PTV Vissim and share reports more efficiently. The PTV Vissim export now includes simulation start time, simulation period and warm-up duration, improving ANM exports for evaluation workflows. The PTV Vistro Web Report Viewer lets users compare up to 20 scenarios in a browser-based report and share the results as a self-contained ZIP file.
