      PTV Vistro now provides accurate out-of-the-box microscopic simulations in PTV Vissim with upgraded export tools. With a click of a button, create the most powerful microsimulation of urban corridors and intersections.

Merge models into one network

    • Easily combine small projects scattered across a city, to make one citywide model.

Model updating

  • It’s now possible to update base models and scenarios data, such as signal timing, geometry and lane configuration, and volumes. This feature is great for updating peak period time-of-day information or updating base model data from a test scenario.

    With this tool, you can also convert a competitor’s numerous time-of-day model files into one managed PTV Vistro model utilizing scenario management. 



Traffic Signal Controller List

  • PTV Vistro 2021 includes a Traffic Signal Controller summary list that enables you to edit and match your agency’s traffic signal controller numbering system. Use the editable description text to help you keep track of details such as the traffic signal controller’s model type or last inspection date.

Stop bar and crosswalk setbacks

  • The location of crosswalks and stop bars can be modified with positive and negative setbacks. This feature enables you to match the pavement markings on the roadway for better visualization. Also, exact setback positions are automatically exported to PTV Vissim for accurate microsimulation simulations.

Visualization of turning radii

  • Visualize conditions at intersections more accurately with turning radii inputs. Radii inputs are also utilized in the HCM 6th Edition multimodal calculations. These dimensions are automatically exported to PTV Vissim to set correct turning paths for microsimulation.  

PTV Vissim import improvements

  • Simulate your PTV Vistro 2021 networks with the enhanced PTV Vissim 2021 import or utilize the built-in Preview in Vissim functionality. This powerful update positions items like stop bars, crosswalks, radii, and medians to the exact coordinates and locations shown in PTV Vistro. The improvement provides a huge time-savings in the urban mobility system workflow with instant microsimulation capabilities.
